What this contract is for

Description and Magnitude of Work is as follows: The work consists of dredging of shoal material from South Pass within the limits shown on the contract drawings above elevation-23.5' MLLW over a 300' bottom width, satisfactory disposal of the dredged material at the disposal sites as required by this solicitation. (The estimated time of completion is 385 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will include 31 drawings and specifications). The magnitude of construction range for this Dredge is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. The solicitation will issue on or about 7 August 2025, and a bid opening date will be established in a future amendment. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on SAM (www.sam.gov). You can access these files from a link located on Sam.gov (www.Sam.gov). You will need the adobe acrobat reader for .pdf files (www.adobe.com) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. You are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor in SAM (www.sam.gov).
