What this contract is for
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing DLA Distribution Contract SP3300-21-D-5002 on a sole source basis to Olgoonik Federal, LLC. This contract provides labor to support workload surges, unforeseen/unplanned workload, contingency operations and special projects. The modification would increase the ceiling amount as the contract has been outpacing the anticipated spend rate. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Olgoonik Federal, LLC is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and would preclude DLA from reacting timely to requirements. This action could not have been overcome by advanced planning given the nature of this contract, which is to support unplanned, unforeseen requirements. If the contract ceiling is not increased to accommodate the known and anticipated requirements of this contract, as well as any unplanned requirements, DLA Distribution would not have a contract vehicle to provide services within the scope of this contract to support DLA and its customers mission. The modification to current contract SP3300-21-D-5002 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. A follow-on procurement is in process. The justification and approval for this ceiling increase will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
