Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) Walkway Light Repairs This is a solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 36, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number SP4703-26-Q-0055 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price award with a period of performance of 90 days after the Notice to Proceed. 1. OBJECTIVES The primary objective of this project is to enhance safety and visibility along the 400-foot pedestrian walkway located after the turnstile. This will be achieved by installing new LED bollard lights, upgrading existing pole lights to LED, and repairing non-operational light poles. 2. BACKGROUND Pedestrians have reported that the walkway is inadequately lit, creating a safety concern, particularly during the early morning hours. The project addresses these concerns by providing a comprehensive lighting solution.
