What this contract is for
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The intent of this notice is to identify qualified, experienced, and interested offerors capable of performing the type of work as described herein for information and planning purposes. The information received will be utilized by the United States Air Force to facilitate the planning and decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this sources sought. Respondents are not required to submit information in response to this announcement to participate in any future solicitation that may come as a result of the information received. In accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 15.101(c)(2), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for the following items listed below: General: The purpose of this sources sought is to conduct Market Research in accordance with RFO Part 10, for the removal of existing perimeter fencing and the installation of a new, upgraded high-security chain link fence, automated entry gates, and an M30 P2 Integrated Cable Barrier System. This requirement consists of demolition and site prep, fence installation, barbwire configuration, and installation of gates and barrier systems.
