What this contract is for

Notice from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Weapons Support Group, Columbus, Ohio: The Strategic Acquisition Program Directorate (SAPD), Special Projects (ZAA). DLA SAPD/ZAA is seeking capability packages from manufacturers with high demand from the Department of War and its branches on class IX commercial items. This sources sought synopsis is strategic published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources to develop commercial price list contracts to support all the military branches. The Government is seeking capability packages from all potential sources, included but not limited to small business (SB), 8(a) participants, HUBZone Small Business, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. REQUIREMENT: The Government is performing market research to identify potential interested sources to fill its commercial price list pipeline. DLA’s commercial price list contracts attempt to mirror the commercial marketplace standards with a FAR 12 commercial long-term requirements type contract.
