This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of industry so the government can make informed business decisions.

All interested parties are highly encouraged to respond.

Reponses to this Sources Sought announcement will be used by the Government to make business decisions and to inform potential future solicitations.

Project Background.

The work site is located at John Day Dam.

Contractor access to the work site will be from I-84 Exit 109.

The Government conducted visual and non-destructive testing inspections on the Below the Hook lifting devices at the powerhouse at John Day Dam in Rufus, Oregon.

These inspections were performed from January 26 to January 28, 2026, in accordance with AWS D1.1 2025 and ASTM E709 standards.

The goal was to assess the structural integrity of the powerhouse’s overhead lifting devices.
