The Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of an upcoming requirement for an aircraft tug.
This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in RFO 12.201-1(c)(2).
Please be advised that this notice is published solely to inform industry of the Government’s intent to solicit quotations directly from at least three small business manufactures or authorized dealers of aircraft tugs whos primary business is the sale of aircraft ground support equipment.
The Government does not intend to post a formal solicitation notice on SAM.gov.
In accordance with RFO 12.201-1(c)(2), for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), the Contracting Officer is electing to solicit quotations directly from suppliers.
By posting this pre-solicitation notice, the Government is fulfilling the requirement to post a pre-solicitation notice in the GPE according to subpart 5.1.
Product Description The Missouri National Guard has a requirement for an aircraft tug capable of towing 60,000 pounds and will evaluate commerical off the shelf products that meet these requirements.
Solicitation & Award Timeline The Missouri National Guard intends to use simplified procedures to solicit offers, and make an award to the offer that represents the best value to the Government.
The anticipated award date is 14 August 2026.
