Summit View Water System Replacement Montpelier Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest Bear Lake County, Idaho Posting: 7/20/2026 Site Visit: Contact COR for Access Q&A Due Date: 07/27/2026 Quotes Due Date: 07/30/2026 Anticipated Award Date: 08/05/2026 This project includes the replacement of waterline originating at Thompson Spring and servicing the Summit View Campground to be preformed IAW documentation and specifications attached.
The work includes removing and replacing approximately 1770 feet of waterline, from the sheep trough T to the iodinator.
Replacement includes 2” minimum diameter HDPE waterline, pipe zone bedding, utility locating system, an air release valve, drains, and backflow preventer, along with incidentals like heat fusion joints and trenching.
Quantities associated with these options are identified in the Schedule of Items.
The project is located on the Montpelier Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Bear Lake County, Idaho, in Section 15, T 10 S, R 44 E.
It is located approximately 20 miles North of Montpelier, Idaho.
The project may be accessed from State Highway 30 and Left-Hand Georgetown Canyon Road (42.5528° N, 111.2957° W).
