PEO-FW Group 2 Air-Launched Effects (A2E) Assessment Event (AE) Submit NLT 25 September 2026 11:59 PM ET U.S.

Citizens Only Purpose SOFWERX, in collaboration with the USSOCOM Program Executive Office Fixed Wing (PEO-FW), will host an Assessment Event (AE) to identify potential vendors to integrate existing compatible small, unmanned air system (sUAS) platforms into a Karman Systima Common Launch Tube (CLT).

This event aims to accelerate capability insertion for platform systems to be quickly integrated into the CLT system for the purpose of launching Group 2 sUAS.

Background/Synopsis The Adaptive Airborne Enterprise (A2E) is an interoperable system of systems designed to enable robust ISR capabilities through expendable, autonomous sUAS platforms, resilient data paths, and a common control architecture.

FANTOM Core-enabled sUAS platforms are typically launched using the Karman Systima CLT system.

Objective The objective of this assessment event is to gather information on the integration capabilities of TRL 5+ sUAS into the Karman Systima CLT for Air-Launched Effects (ALE).

Specifically, the Government seeks to identify airframes capable of rapid integration into the Karman Systima Space & Defense CLT to support Find, Fix, Track, Target (F2T2) and Electronic Warfare (EW) missions under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) A2E program.

Why You Should Participate USSOCOM seeks to enter into non-FAR or FAR-based agreements with Industry, Academic, and National Lab partners whose solutions are favorably evaluated by PEO-FW Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

As such, the follow-on Assessment Event (AE) is considered competitive, and solutions will be evaluated independently of one another primarily for technical merit.
