The MACH1 (Modernized Agile Construction Horizons) framework is utilized by the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (772 ESS) to explore and/or execute innovative, agile, or modernized construction and delivery capabilities.

MACH1 is designed to bypass the administrative lag of traditional procurement and leverage industry expertise, leading capabilities, and highly flexible project delivery models.

The 772 ESS executes this program under the standalone statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2808a(a), which authorizes the Secretary concerned to enter into transactions (other than contracts, cooperative agreements, or grants) to carry out repair and construction projects for facilities, including the planning, design, engineering, prototyping, piloting, and execution of such repair and construction projects.

Facility Construction or Repair Project opportunities will be independently posted as an Area of Interest (AOI) -- "MACH1_AOI_Project Title" -- referencing this MACH1 parent notice that outlines a competitive, streamlined three-phase procedure to submit responses to active AOIs.

For further details: See attachment PDF, "772 ESS.PKA.MACH1_Umbrella Program Notice_AMEND 1_24 Aug 26" Posting Updates a/o 24 Aug 26: Original MACH1 Posting Type changed from "Special Notice" to "Sources Sought" & Original PDF, "772/PKA MACH-1 Umbrella Program Notice 03AUG26' was replaced by Amendment 1 named above.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
