Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Rome, Italy will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The solicitation covers the consolidation and stabilization of historically significant underground tunnels at the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR), located in Rome, Italy. The Contractor must possess and maintain valid the following mandatory certifications for the entire duration of the contract: SOA Category OG2 Minimum Classification III (Restoration and maintenance of protected buildings), SOA Category OS2-A Minimum Classification II (Decorated surfaces of cultural heritage buildings and movable cultural assets of historical, artistic, archaeological and ethno-anthropological interest), ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). The Contractor shall furnish labor, material, and equipment to perform the work as required in the contract. This project is estimated at between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price type purchase order. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and site visit and the date will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
