What this contract is for

This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation is not available at this time. The U.S. Embassy Singapore will post the RFQ on the System for Award Management (SAM) website when it becomes available. The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore, intends to issue a solicitation for the purchase of two (2) passenger vehicles. Vehicles shall meet all applicable Singaporean regulatory requirements, which may include but are not limited to safety, emissions, and registration standards. Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Performance of this contract will take place in Singapore. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
