This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The solicitation is not ready for issuance at this time. The U.S. Embassy Singapore will launch the solicitation on the System for Award Management (SAM) website when it becomes available. The Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore intends to issue a solicitation for internet services. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with one (1) one-year option period, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Interested vendors who provide internet services in Singapore are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov for the forthcoming solicitation. SAM Registration Requirement: All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if interested. Guidelines for registration are available at: https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp. Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Performance of this contract will take place in Singapore. Prospective offerors must possess all required local licenses, permits, and authorizations to operate legally. Contractors will also be responsible for complying with all applicable local labor, safety, and tax laws, and must ensure that any such obligations are satisfied prior to contract performance.
