Facilities Operations, Maintenance and Support Services for U.S. EPA Facilities at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Research Triangle Park (RTP) Facilities located at 109 T.W. Alexander Drive, RTP, NC 27711 has a requirement for facilities, maintenance and support services. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Priced type contract (with a fixed price redetermination retrospective contract line item, a cost reimbursement contract line item and three IDIQ line items) with a twelve-month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. The EPA's facilities on the RTP Campus consists of 1.3 million square feet of offices, laboratories, computer and conference spaces, and child care facilities. The EPA RTP facilities are classified as a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Bio- Safety Level II Research Facility and AAALAC (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal care International) facilities. The purpose is to provide facilities operations, maintenance and support services for the U.S. EPA RTP facilities on a twenty-four hour, seven days a week basis. The Contractor shall provide all management, training, licensed personnel, tools, and labor necessary to perform all functions, operations, and tasks, in accordance with all applicable industry performance standards, to include but not be limited to, National, state and local codes; OSHA regulations; Federal specifications; EPA facility standards; and EPA-RTP policies and procedures. The Contractor shall establish, implement, and maintain facilities management services that are responsive to the Government’s stewardship.
