What this contract is for
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, intends to award a firm fixed price Job Order under a Master Ship and Repair Agreement (MSRA) for overhaul, maintenance, and repair to the Dredge ESSAYONS. Major work items that may be associated with the overhaul and dry docking can be found at the bottom of this announcement. The complete list can be found within the attached invitation for bid (IFB). SITE VISIT (Ship Check): For a Contractor to be determined responsible and eligible for award, a representative of the contractor MUST attend one of the available site visits. The dates for the site visits are: 21 July 26 – Astoria, Oregon 28 July 26 – Westport, Oregon 04 August 26 – Astoria, Oregon If a Contractor would like to request a different day to meet their travel requirements, that can be arranged with 5 days of advanced notice. The actual pickup locations will be confirmed within 3 days of each visit, with the vessel location intended to be no more than 90 minutes away from Portland, Oregon. Site visits will begin promptly at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. All offerors will be required to wear Personal Protective and Safety Equipment (PPE) that meets the requirements of EM 385-1-. 1. PPE WILL NOT be provided by USACE. The Dredge Essayons is currently in the operational dredge season. Due to the current operational schedule, the details for the location of the site visit dates above are subject to change.
