What this contract is for

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command- Armament Center (DEVCOM-AC) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Matlab Training. This RFQ is being issued as a sole source requirement to The MathWorks, Inc. as they are the sole provider. The redacted version of the sole source justification is attached to this notice. The resultant Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price, commercial order, with a period of performance of five (5) years. The SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A RFQ. Further, the synopsis does not guarantee for release of a future RFQ and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and/or quotes and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
