15 JUL 26: Pre-Bid Conference Meeting Minutes, Slides, and Sign-in Sheet are uploaded. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Illinois National Guard has an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for Repair of the Fire Suppression and Hangar Door for Building 632 at the 182d Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL. Work includes the repair of the existing fire protection and detection systems. Remove existing AFFF tanks and existing piping and replace with new water pipes and pumps. Resize pumps in the Base Pump House, Building 831 to adequately provide pressure to the fire water loop. Remove existing Megadoor hangar doors at north door of building 632, mullion doors, motors, and associated conduit, wire, etc. Provide and Install new Megadoor vertical lift hangar door system and associated components. The Megadoor vertical lift hangar door by ASSA ABLOY is sole source specific for compatibility to existing installation systems (noted justifications will be included with solicitation). In addition to the base work described above, the solicitation will include the following option line item: Option 1: Provide and Install New Generator. The contract duration will be 365 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a small business size standard of $45,000,000. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
