This notice of intent to sole source is issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101 and RFO 12.102.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order with Ross Tree Expert Company under the authority of RFO 12.201-1 and 41 U.S.C.

1901.

The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), a federal shared services provider, is completing this procurement on behalf of the National Park Service (NPS).

The purchase order is for tree pruning and tree and stump removal at East Potomac Park in Washington DC.
