What this contract is for

This project if for the reconstruction of the basketball half-court at the U.S. Embassy Vienna Marine House, located in 1190 Vienna. The existing outdoor basketball half-court is at the end of its life cycle and too small in dimensions. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the demolition of the existing sports field surface and substructure, in their entirety, as well as the removal of the lighting. Construction of a new sports field surface, including the substructure, in its entirety, as well as a new lighting system. Scope of work: General Contractor for Construction of Sport Fields and Electrical Installation - Site Installation - Demolition Demolition, removal and disposal of existing basketball half- court (asphalt layer 7x8m), existing exterior lights and basketball basket with posts Soil removal and disposal for new basketball half- court dimension (13mx14m = 182m²), 0.3m depth = ~55m³ - Construction of a new sport field Preparation/installation subgrade/subbase incl. drainage Installation top layer (EPDM rubber surface or equal) Installation point foundation for 1 basketball hoop and for 2 light poles Installation 1 adjustable basketball hoop, and 2 exterior lights incl. cabling/rewiring Laying stone slabs 40x40x5cm around the court Painting lines Final cleaning - Special requirements The work will be carried out while the facility remains in operation and in the presence of the residents, who should not be disturbed during the construction work USG Security regulations Clearance process for employees, cars, material on site Safety and protective measures Execution periods Indicative construction schedule: 5 weeks in fall 2026
