Page 2 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE ALBANY VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT APRIL 1, 2026, FOR THE ALBANY VAMC A WING FAÇADE REPAIR PROJECT. The Albany VAMC is requesting a contract to provide all labor and materials to repair parts of the A wing with some minor work at the wing/Core interface as well as work at the B wing Chapel. The Scope of Work includes: Repair/replacement of brick parapets and associated drainage. Selective roof repair that is to be performed in conjunction with the repair/replacement of other items. Remove/reinstall lightning protection cabling. Repair/replace roof equipment and supports. Repointing of brick and stone. Replacement of joint and window sealant. Repair/replacement of stone panels, coping, lintels, etc. Repair spalled and/or cracked concrete. Clean and paint steel elements such as doors, railings, etc. Replace masonry anchors where necessary and remove and seal those that are not. Cleaning of the building face. Removal of asbestos-containing material, both interior and exterior. Replacement of windows. Repair of interior walls. Installation of flooring. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $45.0 Million. The magnitude of construction per FAR Part 36.204 is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
