What this contract is for

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for one (1) brand-new, factory-produced MY2026 or newer long-wheelbase 8+1 passenger minibus/people carrier, left-hand drive, diesel, automatic transmission, front or rear-wheel drive, Euro 6.2 or higher, homologated for Türkiye, and meeting Section 1 requirements. The requirement is stated by salient characteristics only and does not identify a required make or model. To submit a quotation, follow Section 3 and complete the required portions of the attached document. The U.S. Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible quoter submitting the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation. Only quotations from manufacturers, manufacturer-authorized distributors/dealers, authorized resellers, or certified resellers with proof of authorization and warranty/support capability for the offered vehicle in Türkiye will be considered. Award may be made on initial quotations, without discussions. The RFQ includes three delivery categories: Category 1 - vehicle not present in Türkiye; Category 2 - vehicle in Türkiye in free circulation; and Category 3 - vehicle stocked at an approved Turkish sea port free-zone/bonded warehouse in Istanbul, Kocaeli, Izmir, or Mersin. Offerors must identify the offered delivery category, named point, delivery period, and firm-fixed price basis. The Embassy will not be conducting a pre-quotation conference. Quotations are due by Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, on or before 3:00 p.m. (GMT +3 hrs.). No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English; incomplete, unsigned, conditional, or open-ended quotations may not be accepted. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
