Embassy Singapore intends to issue a solicitation for the turnkey repower of the U.S.

Government-owned Motor Yacht Fair Winds, a 51-foot motor yacht located in Singapore.

The solicitation will include the complete Statement of Work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and applicable terms and conditions.

The anticipated requirement includes removal of two existing Caterpillar C12 marine diesel engines and the furnishing, installation, testing, and commissioning of two new Cummins QSM11-M 715 HO marine diesel engines.

The work is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, vessel haul-out, pressure washing, and hard-stand services; removal and restoration of the engine hatch, teak decking, and other components necessary to access the machinery space; removal of the existing engines; inspection and evaluation of the existing marine gearboxes; installation of new engine mounts; integration of mechanical, fuel, cooling, exhaust, electrical, electronic-control, and navigation systems; alignment; dockside operational testing; sea trials; commissioning; and restoration of disturbed vessel structures and finishes.

The contractor will be required to inspect the existing marine gearboxes and submit a written gearbox inspection and compatibility report.

The report shall document the condition, compatibility, estimated remaining useful life, identified deficiencies, and recommended disposition of each existing gearbox.
