The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 8 Network Contracting Office, James A.
Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), 13000 Bruce B.
Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612, intends to award a sole source contract to the Nalco Company, LLC, 1601 W.
Diehl Rd., Naperville, IL 60563.
The chemical water treatment contractor shall provide all supplies, labor, and technical advisory services necessary for the proper chemical treatment of the boiler plant water, steam, chiller plant, condenser loops, and reheating loops located at the JAHVH, in accordance with the statement of work (SOW).
The contractor must also be fully capable of servicing and supporting the Nalco Corrosion Stress Monitor (NCSM) and the 3DTRASAR system as part of the required performance.
The contractor shall be fully responsible for complying with all VA, local, state, and Federal occupational safety laws, rules, and regulations.
The contractor shall follow life and safety codes and take all necessary actions to avoid hazardous conditions to hospital personnel and patients.
The contractor is responsible for meeting all applicable OSHA and VA guidelines for safe working procedures, such as lockout/tagout when applicable.
The base period of performance is from 09/15/2026 through 09/14/2027, with four (4) option years, under a sole source award to Nalco Company, LLC, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b)(1).
