This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only to identify capable firms for a large-scale construction project (exceeding more than $30,000,000 ) at the Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Office in Canandaigua, NY. This is a special notice only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. All responses must be submitted electronically via the designated Market Survey Form. 1. Description of Work The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is seeking capability statements from the construction community to determine the availability and technical capability of general construction firms. The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to exceed more than $30,000,000 . The project scope involves the extensive demolition, hazardous material abatement, and renovation of two existing structures at the VA Office in Canandaigua, NY: Building 1: Work consists of the full interior demolition, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) removal to structure, and exterior shell improvements. This includes total roof and façade replacement of a six-story, 70,000 SF medical facility. Building 3: Work involves the full interior demolition and complete renovation of a 5,100 SF ground-level pharmacy. 2.
