TITLE: Public Notice of Consolidation - Multiple Award Task Order Contract for Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build Construction, Northwestern Division NOTICE TYPE: Special Notice NAICS CODE: 237990 SOLICITATION NUMBER: W9127N26RA019 DESCRIPTION: In accordance with FAR 7.107-3 and 15 U.S.C. § 657q, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, provides public notice of its determination to consolidate contract requirements for design-build and design-bid-build construction services across the Northwestern Division (Portland, Seattle, and Walla Walla Districts). Consolidation Determination: The Contracting Officer has determined that consolidation of these requirements is necessary and justified in accordance with FAR 7.107-2. The consolidation will establish a single Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with an estimated total capacity of $99,000,000 over a five-year base period. Requirements Being Consolidated: This consolidation will replace various stand-alone contracts previously awarded for repair and maintenance of real property and construction services, including new construction and renovation to large civil works projects. Work includes flood control and hydroelectric dams, river navigation facilities, maintenance and office facilities, roadways and recreation facilities, and river levees across three districts. Anticipated Benefits: The quantified benefits of consolidation total $17,584,365 (17.8% of contract value), substantially exceeding the FAR 7.107-2(d)(1)(ii) threshold of $9.4M.
