What this contract is for
This notice is for information and planning purposes only. The solicitation has not yet been issued and will be released on the SAM.gov website by the U.S. Embassy London once available. The U.S. Embassy London intends to procure passenger transportation services in support of official business primarily in London and the surrounding areas. The Contractor shall provide all management, administration, labor, vehicles and drivers (as required), communication equipment, and all associated operating costs (including fuel, oil, servicing, and insurance) necessary to perform the required services. The anticipated contract will include one (1) base year and two (2) one?year option periods, exercisable at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government anticipates awarding one or more firm?fixed?price contracts resulting from this solicitation to the lowest?priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror(s). The Government reserves the right to make award on the basis of initial offers without discussions. A pre?quotation conference is planned. The date, time, and access details will be stated in the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a quotation, as required by FAR 4.1102. Offerors that are not registered in SAM at the time of submission may be deemed non?responsible and will not be eligible for award. Prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to register in SAM as soon as possible if they intend to submit a quotation.
