What this contract is for

This is an Invitation For Bids (IFB). A bid guarantee is required (see clause at FAR 52.228-1). All bid bonds must be originals; Photocopies will not be accepted. Performance and payment bonds are required. This is a 100% competitive Set-Aside for Small Business. NAICS 236220 with a small business size standard of $45 Million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Bid opening address: MICC-FORT BLISS, 111 PERSHING RD. ROOM220, FORT BLISS, TX 79916. The awardee of this contract will be required to provide a superintendent at all times work is being performed on the project (see clause at FAR 52.236-6). The superintendent is considered a key position. This position shall not be subcontracted and must work directly for the prime contractor. All work shall be performed simultaneously. Resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). Please see attached solicitation and supporting documents.
