What this contract is for
The US Army Corps of Engineers - Rock Island District intends to solicit for competitive bids under RFO part 14 for the following requirement. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation and storage of spoils, demolition and installation of electrical power distrbution, directional boring of telecom lines, and installation and leveling of gravel. The work is located at the 88th RD, COL Paul G. Schulstad U.S. Army Reserve Center, Arlington Heights, Cook County, Illinois, and as indicated on plans. Completion Days: 300 Consecutive Calendar Days Critical Assumptions and Constraints: a. The USARC Site will remain operational during work. b. Work will be performed during normal business hours. Some utility shutdowns may have to be performed during off-hours or weekends c. The site is contaminated and material will have to remain on site. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. ANY INFORMATION OR SUBMITTALS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE WILL NOT BE EVALUATED.
