What this contract is for
January 14th 2026 This message is to provide an update on Phase 1 selection process for the 1st call of the Kronos CSO. At this moment, the Government has reviewed all submissions across the three Areas of Interests (AOIs). In accordance with (IAW) line 222 of the Kronos CSO CAO 02Dec25, the Government will invite some offerors to Phase 1B to expand upon the proposed concept/technology/solution virtually. Not sooner than 14th January 2026, the Government will send out invitations to Phase 1B IAW lines 220 – 242 of the Kronos CSO CAO 02Dec25 (Phase 1B – Pitch Session and Format). It is estimated that Phase 1B will be held during the last two weeks of January 2026. IAW line# 239, an invitation to Phase 1B is not a down select, but an opportunity for the Government to get clarification from the offeror. The Government reminds offerors that if the offeror does not get an invitation to Phase 1B, that means that the Government did not need clarification to make a final decision for Phase 1. An invitation to Phase 1B does not, in any way, guarantee selection to Phase 2. It is the Government’s intention to post another update on the selection process by the end of the first week of February 2026. How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
