PROJECT DESCRIPTION The 156th Wing, at the Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico intends to issue a Request for Quotes conducted under the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 procedures for commercial construction to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all supervision, transportation, labor, materials, equipment, fuel and any other needed materials and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished items, to perform comprehensive HVAC system ductwork insulation repair for Bldg.19 at 156th Wing at Muñiz ANG Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico as shown on drawings contained in the Statement of Works (SOW) incorporated in this solicitation at Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR. Repair works/contract completion time is 60 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch lists. The objective of this project is to replace degraded thermal insulation on the existing HVAC ductwork by flexible wrap-around duct insulation, to maintain energy efficiency, prevent condensation, and ensure optimal climate control for mission operations.
