The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (USACE) requires construction and renovation services for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) headquarters complex on Fort Meade, MD. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract procured under a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process. The scope of work includes • Perform repairs to select areas of the roof that comprise the DISA Headquarters complex on Fort Meade, MD. The roofs are covered in Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM) materials with Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Packaged Rooftop Units (RTUs) mounted on top. • Repairs include removing and resetting gutters, repairing roofing, resetting loose lightning protection aerials, routing and sealing cracks in exposed concrete foundation walls, and patching spalled concrete. • The facility includes 6 individual buildings totaling over 1M square feet. All work must meet ICD/JCS 705 secure facility requirements, and all contract employees must have a verifiable security clearance (minimum Secret) or a contractor-provided escort. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Construction duration is approximately 545 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Additional information in accordance with the Statement of Work will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) package.
