Please refer to "75F40126R00047 Site Visit Attendee List 260711". ******************************************** The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Facilities Engineering and Mission Support Services (OFEMS), has a requirement for exterior and interior repair and preventative maintenance of the Pacific Southwest Laboratory located at 19701 Fairchild Road, Irvine, California 92612. The project consists primarily of: • Structural steel surface preparation and application of corrosion-resistant coating systems on exterior stairs, sunshades, roof access stairs, entrance canopies, and chemical storage shed structural components. • Interior and exterior non-structural concrete crack repairs, including associated surface restoration and replacement of damaged resilient flooring where required. • Associated mobilization, quality control testing, safety controls, closeout documentation, and warranty requirements. The facility will remain occupied and operational during construction. Contractors shall coordinate all work with FDA facility personnel and comply with applicable security, safety, and access requirements. The requirement is being solicited as a competitive 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall achieve substantial completion within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
