What this contract is for
SOLICITATION-DESCRIPTION The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) Outpatient Surgery Department provides podiatry, orthopedic, vascular, ear, nose and throat (ENT), and other outpatient surgery services for veteran patients. These services are rapidly approaching their maximum exam space capacity for patient care and require existing administrative spaces to be converted into examination rooms to meet the growing demands. Currently, these existing administrative spaces are not equipped with the proper plumbing fixtures or exam lights needed for clinicians to provide care to veteran patients. Additionally, certain spaces are large and underutilized and would be best divided into two separate exam spaces. To facilitate proper care to the growing veteran population, the VA requires construction services to reconfigure these existing spaces into standardized general-purpose exam rooms. The work will be accomplished at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System campus located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. (END OF SOLICITATION DESCRIPTION)

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
