What this contract is for
Notice of Intent to Sole Source: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Jeppesen ForeFlight, Inc. of applications for aeronautical navigation flight charts (ForeFlight – Military Flight Bag Performance). This award will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a). These items are only available from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Jeppesen ForeFlight, Inc (formerly Boeing Digital Solutions). This application will be utilized by CBP Air and Marine Operations (AMO) pilots for domestic operations (expect unmanned aircraft systems). The ForeFlight – Military Flight Bag Performance offers comprehensive and total coverage of the Continental United States (CONUS) providing flight planning, charts, weather details, airport information, and other necessary aviation tools that are critical for flight safety and operation. No other applications currently meet the flight navigation requirements expect for this proposed item. The anticipated contract period of performance will be from September 20, 2026 through September 19, 2027. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. There is no formal solicitation available for this requirement at this time.
