Final Pre-solicitation Synopsis W912HY26BA021 The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for GIWW Freeport to Matagorda Bay Maintenance Dredging in Matagorda County, Texas. Full and Open Competition. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Schedule 1 – Project is for Maintenance Dredging of the GIWW Freeport Harbor, GIWW San Bernard River to Colorado River, and Channel to Palacios (Schedule 1 and Options 1-4). Schedule 1 includes dredging of approximately 345,000 cubic yards (CY) between Freeport Harbor to Brazos River, 51,000 CY of dredging of the Brazos River Crossing, and additional dredging of the GIWW San Bernard River to Colorado River. Option 1 is for dredging of channel to Palacios for approximately 480,000 CY, Option 2 is for maintenance dredging of the Colorado River for approximately 8,100 CY. Option 3 is for maintenance dredging of the Brazos River Floodgates Boathouse for approximately 2,100 CY. Option 4 is for maintenance dredging of the Colorado River Locks Boathouse for approximately 2,400 CY. Contractor should be familiar with the dredge material placement areas and the soft material found within them. Contractor should be familiar with the traffic conditions of the area. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 220 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Completion time for Option 1 if awarded is an additional 35 calendar days to be added to the period of performance. Completion time for Option 2 if awarded is an additional 10 calendar days to be added to the period of performance.
