VTA seeks proposals (each a " Proposal ") from qualified firms (each a " Proposer ") to provide services to act as Construction Manager/General Contractor ("CMGC") for the project titled below and further described in the Scope of Services, attached as Appendix A (the " Project "): Chaboya Yard Zero‑Emission Bus (ZEB) Charging Infrastructure Project The purpose of the Proposal is to demonstrate the qualifications, competence and capacity of Proposer to perform preconstruction services and, if a Guaranteed Maximum Price ("GMP") can be agreed upon, to provide CMGC services for construction of the Project, as further described in this RFP, in conformity with the requirements of this RFP. The Proposal should demonstrate the qualifications of the Proposer and of the particular staff to be assigned to this Project. It should also specify a specific approach that will meet the RFP requirements. VTA intends to select and award a contract to a qualified, California-licensed General Contractor that is able to provide appropriately licensed contracting and professional services ("Construction Manager") to collaborate with VTA’s retained design consultant ("Designer") and provide Preconstruction Services, as defined below, during development of the Plans, Specifications, and Estimate ("PS&E") for the Project. The project delivery method for this Project is CMGC in accordance with Public Utilities Code section 100150, et. seq.
