The work consists of a Base Bid and three Bid options.

Base Bid includes: • Underdeck repair of concrete elements (spalls, cracks, and other defects) requiring work overwater in confined spaces subject to daily tidal fluctuations. • Repair of existing timber piles by installation of fiberglass jackets. • Structural upgrades to North Ramp 5 and North Ramp 5 Extension, including demolition of existing concrete deck to access and strengthen pile caps with cast-in-place concrete, followed by in-kind replacement of the concrete deck.

Bid Option 1: Drainage upgrades to the Original TC Dock and North Dock Extension, including demolition of existing concrete deck and construction of a new, thicker cast-in-place concrete deck Bid Option 2: Replacement of a broken square concrete batter pile at the outboard face of Bent 111.

Work includes demolition of the remaining pile and pile cap above water, driving a new square concrete batter pile, and construction of a new cast-in-place pile cap.

Bid Option 3: Reutilization of an outboard batter pile at Bent 135 that has detached from the pile cap.

Work includes demolition of the existing concrete pile cap and construction of a new extended cast-in-place pile cap to reconnect the pile.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
