Teleflex Balloon Pumps Service and Maintenance

VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF / VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF San Francisco, CA

  • Status Closes in 5 days
  • Amount Amount not listed
  • Set-aside No Set aside used

Scope

Teleflex Balloon Pumps are advanced medical devices essential to the daily operations of our Cath Lab.

At this time, our in-house Biomedical Engineering Support Specialists (BESS) do not have thespecialized training or necessary tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance in alignment with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.

Given the critical nature of thesedevices, they require adhering to OEM specifications for preventive maintenance as is mandated by The Joint Commission standard EC 02.04.03.

Currently, when repairs or maintenance are needed, the equipment is serviced through one time purchase card transactions.

This process results in significant costs and increased downtime, impactingboth efficiency and patient care.

Establishing this contract would provide onsite service and support, ultimately reducing both expenses and equipment downtime.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
