Scope

Iredell County Government is seeking proposals from qualified companies and/or organizations to provide contracted on-site physical therapy services for Iredell County employees, retirees, and eligible dependents covered under the County's Group Health Insurance Plan. The County currently offers on-site physical therapy services to its employee population 25 hours per week, co-located at the County's Employee Wellness Clinic, 318 Turnersburg Highway, Suite B, Statesville, NC 28265. Based on ongoing feedback collected by County Human Resources, this program consistently demonstrates strong utilization and is highly valued among County employees as a low-barrier, convenient access point for musculoskeletal care and rehabilitation. The County is issuing this RFP to competitively evaluate the market for on-site physical therapy services, confirm that its program reflects current best practices in pricing, staffing continuity, clinical quality, and reporting, and to establish clear performance expectations for the services described herein. The County is particularly interested in proposals from organizations that specialize in providing high-quality, cost-effective on-site or worksite physical therapy services for employers of comparable size, and that can demonstrate the ability to improve employee musculoskeletal health outcomes and reduce related healthcare costs. Please note this RFP is limited exclusively to physical therapy services. The County is not soliciting occupational therapy, speech therapy, or other allied health disciplines under this RFP. Physical therapy services procured under this RFP should be coordinated with, and are not intended to replace, care provided by the employee's or dependent's primary care physician or specialist.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
