Scope

The Sacramento County Facilities Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of County facilities and their respective heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration systems. These systems rely on a variety of components and replacement parts to maintain reliable operation, energy efficiency, and appropriate indoor environmental conditions across County facilities. This Request for Bid (RFB) seeks competitive pricing from qualified Contractors for HVAC and refrigeration parts, to be purchased on an as-needed basis. Pricing for this solicitation shall be submitted in the form of a discount from catalog model, with separate percentage discounts for each specified product category. Multiple awards may be made to allow the County to obtain the best available pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines to meet its operational needs. This RFB is part of a cooperative purchasing agreement through the Lead Participating Agency, County of Sacramento, for SCoPA (Sacramento County Procurement Alliance), a collaboration that allows the County and other governmental, educational, and non-profit entities to benefit from collective purchasing power and allow for efficient contractual processes for the supplier community. As a result, any selected bid may be utilized by additional participating entities, providing expanded visibility and potential for additional opportunities.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
