Scope
CONTRACTORS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THIS INDUSTRY DAY MUST RESPOND PER THIS NOTICE.
This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Enterprise Procurement Office (EPO), inviting contractors interested in providing services to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO).
VA anticipates conducting a series of general MDEO Reverse Industry Days with the goal of promoting engagement and learning about industry ideas and capabilities related to MDEO’s mission and operational needs.
These events are to be general in nature, not in response to a specific MDEO requirement or upcoming contract action.
VA anticipates other market research and/or industry days for specific new/recompete contract actions.
The next General MDEO Reverse Industry Day is anticipated for December 2026 with future industry days planned at VA's discretion.
All MDEO Reverse Industry Days are being conducted for market research purposes only.
VA will not discuss, accept questions or provide information regarding any open solicitation or active procurement, including procurements in evaluation, source selection or any other phase of the acquisition process, during these events.
All procurement-specific inquiries must be directed separately through the official communication channels established by the contracting officer responsible for that procurement.
See attached Industry Day Notice for full details.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
