La Palma Alleys Sewer Improvement Project
The City of Anaheim - Public Works Anaheim, CA
- Status Closes in 34 days
- Amount Amount not listed
- Set-aside None (open competition)
Scope
These proposed improvements will address the capacity and operational deficiencies under the existing conditions for the area shown in Exhibit A . The sewer systems were constructed with 6" minimum diameter instead of the City’s current minimum standard 8-inches in diameter. This old 6-inch pipe is experiencing significant maintenance problems such as offset joints and root intrusion and its improvement is a priority for the City. Implementation of this program will improve the overall performance, reduce maintenance costs, ensure capacity for future developments, and maintain the reliability of the sewer system. The City of Anaheim Public Works Operations team has identified a previously unknown sag or siphon between manholes SW070319 and SW071102 in La Palma Ave. This segment has caused operational issues. This project will identify solutions to remove this operational deficiency. City survey shows the 21-inch sewer line on the south side of La Palma at a lower elevation than the 10-inch sewer line. Additionally, this project aims to remove the existing siphon from SW070314 to SW071101 in the intersection of La Palma and Harbor. The identification of any feasible solutions to this removal is requested in the projects Preliminary Design Report (PDR).

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
