West Lawrence Pump Station Bank Stabilization Project
Township of North Brunswick - Public Works North Brunswick, NJ
- Status Closes in 18 days
- Amount Amount not listed
- Set-aside None (open competition)
Scope
The project generally consists of embankment stabilization improvements comprised of gabion baskets, gabion mattresses, loose stone riprap, and live staking. The improvements are intended to restabilize the eroded embankments, which are in close proximity to the pumping station. The tributary embankments have eroded to the extent that existing pavement and fencing have been damaged, and accordingly the project also proposes new chain link fencing, perimeter concrete flush curb, and pavement restoration beyond top of bank. It should be noted that the proposed edge of pavement will not extend beyond the existing edge of pavement, and the flush curb will maintain existing site drainage patterns. The pumping station is a critical facility for the Township, and accordingly the improvements are necessary scour countermeasures that are anticipated to repair existing damage within the site and mitigate future embankment erosion proximate to the site.

How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
