Scope

DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS Network Contracting Office 6 Solicitation Number: 36C24627Q0057 Amendment Number: 0003 Requirement: Golf Cart Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services Location: Hampton VA Medical Center PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT The purpose of this amendment is to cancel Solicitation 36C24627Q0057 in its entirety.

NOTICE OF SOLICITATION CANCELLATION Following a review of the solicitation requirements and clarification requests received from interested vendors, the Government has determined that the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requires further review and substantive revisions.

The clarification process identified areas requiring additional definition, including the scope of services, equipment specifications, contractor responsibilities, and pricing requirements.

The Government has determined that proceeding under the current solicitation without addressing these matters may result in inconsistent interpretations of the requirements and prevent vendors from preparing quotations on a common and clearly defined basis.

Accordingly, the Government is canceling this solicitation to allow for a comprehensive review and revision of the acquisition requirements, consistent with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for competition and solicitation clarity.

Solicitation 36C24627Q0057 is hereby canceled in its entirety.

No award will be made under this solicitation.

The Government may issue a revised solicitation at a later date.

Interested vendors are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov for future announcements.

All other provisions of the solicitation are superseded by this cancellation notice.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
