Scope

Since 1892, the Pasadena Public Health Department has been responsible for helping protect, maintain and improve the health of the Pasadena community. The City of Pasadena is one of only three cities in the State of California that maintains its own independent local health jurisdiction with responsibility for a wide variety of services that support the three core functions of assessment, policy development and assurance. The Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) is funded through various local, State and Federal grants and employs a diverse, compassionate and forward-thinking group of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality care and services. PPHD is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to develop, conduct and implement effective tools and methods to expand health insurance access including but not limited to Medi-Cal outreach, Medi-Cal enrollment, Kaiser Access for All (when available), and contribute efforts to retention for targeted uninsured populations in partnership with the PPHD Access to Care grant program.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
