Request for Information: Air Operations Center (AOC) Common Air Defense Picture (CADP)

DEPT OF DEFENSE / DEPT OF THE AIR FORCE HANSCOM AFB, MA

  • Status Closes in 15 days
  • Amount Amount not listed
  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The Government is conducting market research to identify existing and emerging software-enabled capabilities that can improve air and missile defense planning, situational awareness, reporting, readiness analysis, sustainment analysis, and decision support.

Current workflows require personnel to consolidate information from multiple systems, data sources, and manual processes.

This fragmentation can increase manual workload, delay access to relevant information, and complicate collaborative planning and decision support across command-and-control organizations.

The Government seeks information on commercial capabilities that can improve access to authorized information, reduce manual reconciliation and reporting burden, and provide authorized users with a more integrated operational picture.

The desired capability should support users operating at multiple echelons of command and control while preserving Government decision authority and existing authoritative command-and-control functions.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
