On-Call Parking Consultant Services

City of Pasadena - Transportation Department Pasadena, CA

  • Status Closes in 35 days
  • Amount Amount not listed
  • Set-aside None (open competition)

Scope

The City of Pasadena Department of Transportation is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide on-call parking consultant services across its portfolio of parking assets and programs. This includes eight City-owned parking garages, four municipal surface lots, approximately 400 multispace meters, five meter districts, parking enforcement operations and comprehensive residential, daytime, and overnight parking permit programs. Selected proposers will form an on-call bench and will be eligible to support infrastructure evaluation, operational studies, technology modernization, and strategic planning and other related activities on an as-needed basis. A minimum of three (3) years experience in such projects is required. Proposers are encouraged to focus on the areas of strength and are not required to team with a large number of sub-consultants to cover all potential types of projects. This Request for Proposals (RFP) does not solicit services for a single, defined project. Rather, the resulting consultant list will be used by the Department of Transportation to assign project-specific Task Orders for parking consulting services required for the City's Parking Division. Each Task Order will define the scope, deliverables, schedule, and coordination needs for the required work. To be considered for selection, consultants must demonstrate substantial experience preparing infrastructure evaluations, operational studies, technology modernization, and strategic planning and other related activities. Consultants selected through this RFP will be placed on an on-call bench available to support the Parking Division's needs on an as-needed basis. Placement on the on-call bench does not guarantee any minimum or maximum number of assignments.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
