Scope

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to Sebia Inc.

The Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a request for Sebia Capillary Electrophoresis and associated products.

The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to Sebia Inc being the sole supplier of requested Capillary Electrophoresis.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with 1,000 employees.

The Sole source requirement is: Sebia Capillary Electrophoresis reagents, controls, and consumables, including training, technical support, and maintenance.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, and no Solicitation will be issued.

Market research has determined that this product is highly specialized and only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements.

The Government intends to award the contract with an estimated effective date on or about November 9, 2026, to Sebia Inc. | 1705 Corporate Dr #400| Norcross, GA | 30093 |.

However, interested parties may identify their skill and ability by sending capability statements about this requirement to the Contracting Specialist within three (3) calendar days of this publication by contacting NaTasha Hawkins via e-mail [email protected].

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
