Veterans Memorial Parkway Extension - Clearing & Grubbing for Advance Utility Removal/Relocations The purpose of this project is for the clearing and grubbing of the existing and proposed right-of-way for the Volusia County Veterans Memorial Parkway Extension (VMP) project followed by advanced utility removal/relocations work. Not all areas within the project limits require clearing and grubbing as a part of this construction contract. The Clearing and Grubbing part of this contract contains instructions for the following activities occurring in the VMP Extension project: The clearing and grubbing of all areas within the new right-of-way of VMP, as well as within the temporary construction easements (TCE) adjacent to the new right-of-way with the exception of areas that are not depicted as such in the plans. The clearing and grubbing of all areas within the new right-of-way of Kentucky Avenue as well as the TCE adjacent to the new right-of-way with the exception of areas that are not depicted as such in the plans. The clearing and grubbing of a portion of east side of existing Kentucky Avenue where the new roadway will tie in. The clearing and grubbing of Pond Parcel #100 from the limits of the new VMP/Kentucky Avenue right-of-way to the existing tree line on the west side of existing Kentucky Avenue. The clearing and grubbing of the western roadside of existing Kentucky Avenue to the western limits of the existing or proposed VMP/Kentucky Avenue right-of-way, whichever is further west, with the exception of the area that is not depicted as such in the plans. The clearing and grubbing of the eastern roadside of existing Kentucky Avenue only where depicted as such in the plans.
