This notice serves to announce the intent of the 772nd Contracting Squadron to award a sole source non-personal service contract for Mobile Airfield Rescue Kit System Training Program (Mark-1) at Holloman Air Force Base, NM and Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany.
The training will include two-week training sessions at each location to include MARK-1 Operator Orientation & Advanced Driver's Training and MARK-1 Operator Orientation & Expeditionary Field Repair.
The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.102(a), as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement.
The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Beecher Emission Solution Technologies LLC DBA Ward Diesel Filter Systems (1250 Schweizer Rd Horseheads, New York 14845, United States).
The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 611519 (Other Technical and Trade Schools) and the size standard is $21M.
The acquisition will be awarded as a commercial service using Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services under the authority of FAR part 12.
The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of soliciting with only one source.
